Valeria Núñez
Twelve years in air cargo. She set up Vuelapatas after moving her own dog and discovering that nobody told her anything during the flight.
We started because nobody told our founder anything while her dog crossed the country. Eleven years on, we still tell you everything.
In 2015 Valeria moved her life from Miami to Seattle, and with it Nala, a nine-year-old greyhound. She paid a transport company and for seven hours she heard absolutely nothing. Nala arrived fine. The fright never left her.
Vuelapatas was born that afternoon. We did not invent animal transport: we invented the part where somebody calls you.
It is the one rule with no exceptions. It has cost us cancelled flights, refunds and customers. It still stands.

Accredited vet. He signs off on every transfer and decides when an animal should not fly.
She knows the requirements of all 50 states by heart. Her expiry tracking is the reason no flight is ever missed here over paperwork.
He builds and measures every carrier. If a crate does not comply, it does not go, even if that means losing the flight.
We do not ask for air-cargo experience: that can be taught. We ask that you understand why a family is anxious at three in the morning.
